Artist Statement
Fine arts are the most ancient of arts. A man became a man when he began to think figuratively. Painting is a reflection of human figurative thinking.
The fine arts have always been a way of cognition of the world for the man, a way of expressing his delight with the wisdom and beauty of the world, a way of building up his ideals.
The conception of the beautiful and ugliness grew up in the man through his experience of the fight for his own existence, safety, health, through the experience of intercourse between people, with the nature and the environment. The art that expresses the conception of beauty shared by many can appear only on the basis of real images.
In his works of art the artist reflects his own sensation and understanding of beauty. The art is a painters delight and labour. Its lucky when the painters delight is shared by a spectator.
